Karaoke Fundraiser At Palma Verde: Everything You Need To Know

It’s a Thursday night. You’ve had a long week, you’re feeling stuck in the monotony of everyday life, work is getting stressful, and to top it all off, there’s a song buzzing around your head like a gnat you just can’t catch. Well you’re in luck, because Shhhh Arts & Enterprise has got your back! On Thursday, April 30th, we’ll be hosting our second Annual Fundraiser & Mixer, Karaoke Edition. 


Picture this: In the heart of Time Square you arrive at Palma Verde to open doors at 5:30pm. You take the elevator up to the fourth floor, and step out into exactly what you didn’t know you needed; a lively atmosphere of music, dance, and a community of artists offering you reprieve from the everyday. Before you know it you’re mingling, networking, and fostering new relationships with both professionals and aspiring creatives alike. And that song that’s been scratching an insatiable itch in the back of your mind? For only $1, you’re belting it onstage.  


If you’ve been seeking a place to broaden your social, artistic, or career-oriented horizons, or simply looking for a night of fun, our Karaoke Fundraiser & Mixer is for you. With a pre-show cocktail hour beginning at 6:00, our guests will have plenty of time to settle in and get to know one another by the time the first singer hits the stage at 6:30!


In addition to a great time, this event is also the perfect opportunity to donate to a great cause. All of the donations we receive will go directly to funding the programs and bootcamps that comprise our organization. At SAEN, it’s our mission to bring educational opportunities to any artist seeking to broaden their business horizons and gain a better understanding of how to turn what they love into a way to live. Everyone’s heard the myth of the ‘starving artist’. Our goal is to debunk it through workshop training, internships, and access to real-world experience.


By selecting one of our five ticket tiers, you’re able to contribute directly to this cause, as well as help us fund future events like this one! Whether it’s Creative Access ($20), which gets you general admission, VIP Arts Advocate ($125) for complimentary cocktails, food, and reserved seating, or anything in between, your donations make our goals possible. More information about ticket tiers and what they include, as well as how to purchase them, can be found under the ‘events’ tab. While all sales are final, ticket upgrades are available and encouraged in-person through QR code and via Zelle.


We hope you’ll join us for what will be a fun-filled night of music and dance, and help us carve out a safe, uplifting space for entrepreneurial artists to express themselves and build connections that could last well beyond the final call.
